What is the Czech Partnership Visa?
The Czech Partnership Visa is a temporary residency visa for the unmarried partner (boyfriend, girlfriend, or fiancé) of a Czech or EU citizen. It allows you to live, work, and travel in the Czech Republic.
Partnership Visa Requirements
Permanent Relationship To qualify, you must be in a long-term, committed relationship with a Czech or EU citizen. You should have shared a household for at least 1 year and contributed to each other’s living expenses. Proof of this permanent relationship, lasting at least 1 year, is required.
Czech Income You or your partner must have a stable income that covers living costs, including rent.
Full-Time Employment: You should provide 3 recent salary slips from full-time employment, with a suggested net salary of 40,000 CZK to cover rent and expenses in the Czech Republic.
Trade Licenses: If self-employed, provide an income tax report from the last tax year. The yearly net income should be at least 600,000 CZK, considering living and tax expenses.
Combined Income: If both you and your partner have Czech incomes, the total amount can be a combination of both of your earning
3. Valid Czech Visa or Passport
You must hold a Czech visa or passport that allows free movement within the Schengen Area
Health Insurance
You need a public health insurance card or a comprehensive health insurance contract valid for three years. Pexpats can arrange discounted medical insurance through corporate plans.
Bridge Visa
On the day your Czech partnership visa application is successfully submitted, you will receive a Bridge Visa (process visa) sticker in your passport. This visa is issued for up to 180 days and can be extended while your application is being processed. The Bridge Visa also allows you to work for any Czech company.
Once your Czech partner visa is approved, you will receive a biometric residence card, valid for up to three years.

Application Appointment
Once we receive all the required information and supporting documents, we will submit your Czech partner visa application. To verify your EU partner's identity, your partner should accompany us as well
Bridge visa
On the application day, we will arrange a bridge visa (process) sticker for your passport. This bridge visa allows you to work and travel in both the EU and the Czech Republic. It can be extended during the application process.

4.Biometric Card
After your partner visa is approved, you will receive a residency biometric card.
Czech Biometric Card
The Czech biometric card is your official proof of legal residency in the Czech Republic. It contains biometric data, including fingerprints and a digital photo. If you're applying for a Czech partner visa, the card is issued for 3 years.
Biometric Card Appointment
At your first biometric card appointment, the immigration office will take your fingerprints and a digital photo. The card will be ready in about 20 days, and you'll need to attend a second appointment to pick it up.
