You will need to provide a few more documents. Here is a checklist:
You need to present a bank statement with the amount of not less than 165.000 CZK or equivalent in your local currency, approximately 8 000 USD.
This doesn’t need to be monthly statements of your transactions, but just a simple confirmation with bank employee signature and stamp that your current balance in your bank account meets the equal to 165 000 CZK/ 8 000 USD minimum.
Please note:
Joint bank accounts are not recommended - If you do have a joint bank account, the final balance should be twice the required amount for one person.
If you have a joint bank account, for example, you and your mother share an account, then that 165 000 CZK is considered to be divided between the two people who share the account, meaning each person would have 82 500 CZK.
This will not fulfill the visa conditions for 1 person or 165 000 CZK and joint bank account final balance should be 330 000 CZK, approximately 16 000 USD.
Bank confirmation from Savings accounts are not accepted.
You need to have a debit/credit card with your name linked to the bank account which you are using for a bank statement.

ATTENTION!
You will need to officially translate your criminal clearance report into the Czech language. We can provide the translation service for an additional fee.
If you have spent more than six months in any other country within the last three years, apart from your home country, you will need to obtain a criminal clearance report from those countries as well.
Inform your dormitory provider about our cooperation and ask them to send your accommodation documents directly to our office. If you rent an apartment, provide us with the contact of your landlord so we may negotiate an arrangement for your proof of accommodation ourselves.
Please note:
We can only collect the documents once your tuition and housing fees are paid.
You must have proof of accommodation at least for 6 months for your first visa (the preferred option is 12 months). It will determine the period of your visa validity.

The birth certificate needs to have the apostille (for some countries even super legalization) and needs to be officially translated into the Czech language.Â
The original birth certificate shall be sent to our office for official translation.
Pexpats will prepare a document for obtaining parental consent for traveling and living in the Czech Republic.
Pexpats will prepare visa application and send with all other document to you before your visa application process.

With the power of attorney, we have your permission to monitor your file, follow up with the Ministry of the Interior and request that the process be sped up if it is past the deadline.
Once you have all of the documents from the checklist, the Pexpats agent will help you to navigate to which Czech Embassy you shall submit your visa application.
If you are a US citizen and you live in the US, you can also submit your application via post.
To submit your application, you need to have an appointment scheduled, which can be done via email only.
Make sure you bring all of the items from the Checklist Above and:
Your passport;

Embassy fee in cash (2.500 CZK - local currency).
Your visa is approved and shall be collected from the Czech Embassy, where you have submitted your application.

Pexpats cooperates with all major medical insurance companies. Please, contact your agent for a health insurance contract arrangement for students.
