You must report your address change at the Czech Immigration Office (Ministry of the Interior). This can be done in person at the office responsible for your district or through an authorized representative, such as a lawyer or a licensed service provider like Pexpats.
To report your address change, you must provide the following documents at the immigration office:
Your passport
Your residence permit
A rental contract or proof of accommodation signed by the legal owner of the property

If you hold a long-term residency, employee card, or blue card and move to a new apartment in the Czech Republic, you must report your address change to the Immigration Office (Ministry of the Interior) within 30 days.
Your biometric residence card does not contain your address, so it does not need to be replaced. For this reason, there is no fee for reporting the address change.
If you hold Czech permanent residency as a non-EU citizen and move to a new apartment, you must report your new address to the Immigration Office (Ministry of the Interior) within 30 days.
Your biometric card includes your address, so when you report the change, you must apply for a new biometric card. The standard fee is 1,000 CZK for the issuance of the new biometric card.
If you are an EU citizen with Czech temporary residency and you move to a different address, you must report the address change to the Immigration Office (Ministry of the Interior) within 30 days.
Your residency certificate includes your address, so after reporting the change, you will receive a new certificate. The process is free of charge.
If you are an EU citizen with Czech permanent residency (green book) and you move to a new address, you must report the address change to the Immigration Office (Ministry of the Interior) within 30 days.
Your green residency book contains your address, so after reporting the change, the new address will be stamped in your green book. This process is free of charge.
If you hold temporary residency as a family member of an EU citizen in the Czech Republic and move to a new address, you must report the address change to the Immigration Office (Ministry of the Interior) within 30 days.
Your biometric residence card does contain the address, so you only need to report the change — a new card is not required. The process is free of charge.
If you are a UK citizen holding temporary residency under the Brexit agreement and you move to a new address in the Czech Republic, you must report the address change to the Immigration Office (Ministry of the Interior) within 30 days.
